A: Most of our display cases are designed for specific LEGO® sets and will list the compatible set number on the product page. For our universal display cases, please compare the case’s internal dimensions with your completed build before ordering. If you’re unsure, email us your LEGO® set number and we’ll be happy to help.
Q: Do I need to assemble the display case myself?
A: Yes. Our acrylic display cases are shipped flat-packed to help protect the panels during transit. They are designed to be assembled conveniently by one person, and most cases can be put together without any special experience.
Q: Is everything needed for assembly included?
A: All case-specific parts and hardware required for assembly are included with your display case, such as screws, connectors, brackets, and other fittings where applicable. Basic household tools, such as a screwdriver, may be required and are not included.
Q: Are assembly instructions included?
A: Yes. Assembly instructions are included with applicable products. If you need additional help, contact us at hi@kgboxofficial.com and our team can provide additional instructions or guidance.
Q: Why do the acrylic panels feel tight when I assemble them?
A: A snug fit is intentional. Our acrylic panels and connectors are precisely cut so the finished display case stays secure and properly aligned. During assembly, make sure each panel is facing the correct direction and fully seated before tightening any screws or fittings.
Q: Should I force an acrylic panel if it doesn’t fit?
A: No. Acrylic should never need excessive force during assembly. If a panel does not line up correctly, double-check its orientation and the assembly instructions before continuing. Forcing a panel may damage the acrylic or connectors. If something still doesn’t look right, contact us before proceeding.
Q: Is there protective film on the acrylic?
A: Most acrylic panels arrive with protective film to help prevent scratches during production and shipping. Remove the protective film before final assembly for the clearest finish. Some panels may have film on both sides.
Q: Will there be small gaps between the acrylic panels?
A: Slight tolerances between panels can be normal due to the way acrylic cases are designed and assembled. Once the panels are properly aligned and secured, the case should form a clean and stable enclosure.
Q: How should I clean my acrylic display case?
A: Use a clean microfiber cloth and gently wipe the acrylic. For fingerprints or dust, use water or an acrylic-safe cleaner. Avoid abrasive cloths, paper towels, alcohol-based cleaners, and harsh household chemicals, as they may scratch or damage the acrylic.
Q: What if my order arrives damaged or is missing a part?
A: Take photos of the packaging and affected product or part and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hi@kgboxofficial.com. Please include your order number and photos so our team can review the issue and determine the appropriate solution.
Q: Can I change my order after placing it?
A: Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and requested change. Changes may be possible before your order enters production or ships, but we cannot guarantee modifications once processing has begun.
